The categories that we judge are as follows:

Maple Syrup: 1 pint, Vermont graded

Backyard Amateur - 25 or fewer taps

Maple Candy: 3-4 pieces

Maple Cream: 8oz container

Maple Sugar: 8oz container

Maple Specialties: at least 1/2 cup of syrup used, any grade; include recipes; use disposable dishes

You have several drop-off options. All entries submitted at locations other than the Field Days Sugarhouse must be dropped off by Saturday, August 5.

Mon-Fri 8am-5p, Sat 9a-4p

Location: 1297 Exchange St., Middlebury, VT 05753 

Judging will take place on Monday around lunchtime and we'll have the display with ribbons ready to go by Tuesday morning.

You can collect any prize winnings and ribbons on Saturday night. If you are unable to, we can arrange for you to pick them up after the Fair or we can mail them to you.
