Sponsors for our Maple School:
The Vermont Maple Foundation will be promoting Vermont maple syrup on Vermont Public Radio this holiday season. Betty Ann Lockhart worked hard at creating two underwriting "advertisements" to include 12 announcements a week:
The messages are:
"Portions of today's programming are made possible by our contributing listeners and by Vermont Sugarmakers—making gift giving simple and sweet with Pure Vermont Maple found locally and online. Vermont Maple dot org."
"Portions of today's programming are made possible by our contributing members and by Vermont Sugarmakers, busy packaging a Flavor of Vermont, Pure Maple holiday gifts, found locally and online. Vermont maple dot org."
Locally the announcements can be heard on WRVT Rutland 88.7 and WVPS Burlington, 107.9.
If your customers mentions they have heard the announcement please let Betty Ann (425-2783) know so the Foundation can know if the campaign was effective. The Foundation is looking to do more support of sugarmakers. Please let Betty Ann or Barb Rainville know what we can do for you.
Also from the Foundation, the mobile sugarhouse is completed and has already been on the road! ACSMA will have use of the sugarhouse for promotional activities at no charge.
