1/4 cup butter
2 oz baking chocolate
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder

- Preheat oven to 300°F.
- Melt butter and chocolate over low heat.
- Add beaten eggs, maple syrup, vanilla and sugar to melted chocolate mixture. Beat until blended.
- Beat in flour, baking powder and salt.
- Pour into a 10" x 6" x 1" shallow pan (well greased).
- Bake for 60 mins.

Yield: 15 - 2" brownies
