MAPLE FUDGE

1 cup sugar
2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup dark amber maple syrup
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 tbsp butter
pinch of salt

Butter 8 inch baking pan. In medium saucepan, combine sugars, maple syrup, butter, milk and salt. Bring mixture to a boil stirring consistently. Then heat without stirring for 5 minutes or until small amount of mixture dropped into cold water forms a soft ball. Remove from heat. Place pan in cold water for 5 minutes. Beat mixture until it thickens. Quickly spread into prepared pan. Let cool completely before cutting.
